Super pussy in more ways than one.
I was 28 years old and travelling with my boyfriend. We'd stopped in Bangkok while travelling to the islands and decided to check out the notorious ping pong bars. As we sat watching these ladies performing incredible things with their lady bits an old lady walked on stage. She was probably about 60 and she was only wearing socks. She started peeling a banana suggestively. As I turned to my boyfriend to laugh I picked up a ping pong bat that was on the bar wondering what it was for. The crowd cheered and I felt a hard thud to my chest. I looked down at my jacket thinking "please God no" and there smashed all over it was a banana. Confused and slightly scared I looked up at the stage and there she was, lying with her legs spread, giving me a thumbs up. She looked so pleased with herself and to be honest I would have been too if I'd managed to do that with my fanny. I smiled, gave her the thumbs up too, peeled off my coat and put it in the bin. I haven't been able to eat a banana since.
Years later, when I was in labour, I was thinking about that memory. Just how apt that bar name had been and just how truly super our pussies are. Other than shooting bananas at unsuspecting tourists and playing ping pong they also push out little humans. They are incredible. I'd never given that area much thought to be honest. Other than the occasional trim or wax. It was largely stuffed into knickers and ignored. In hindsight though they are one of the most amazing parts of our bodies. You spend your whole life thinking arms and legs are the most important parts but no. Its your very own fanny.
I've had two children. Two boys. One ten pounder...the other luckily a bit smaller. They are now six and two and when I see them running around I wonder how the hell I did that.
I love their birthdays and I also think that its a little celebration for me too. A celebration of motherhood, of womanhood, of what my body has achieved but also a celebration of my truly super pussy.
So here's to you, to yours and the incredible things they do.
